Conversion rates from sterling to Euros are approximate only.
Rates will be calculated on a daily basis.

Rates are based on 2 people sharing a twin room with en-suite facilities.
Single room supplements are charged at 20% for those occupying a room alone at le mas casteunou.
We have one large triple room available at le mas casteunou if required. Third person sharing will receive a 25% discount.

::: NON-RESIDENTIAL PAINTING COURSES :::

We also welcome non-residential day painters to the course. The course must be taken as a whole.

As a N.R painter you will receive exactly the same tuition as the residential guests, with daily refreshments, a picnic lunch provided every day but 2 and an end of course exhibition of the groups work. You must have your OWN TRANSPORT to and from painting locations. The rendezvous will be at Le mas casteunou or at the painting location. We will paint from 10am approx until 5pm approx each day.

Tailor made group bookings only during July and August (by arrangement). Your itinerary can include painting tuition in any medium, excursions to local places of interest. (sleeps 13/14 comfortably)
Can be combined with the stone cottage (for 6) for very large groups, weddings etc.
This beautiful stone mas is in an area of outstanding beauty and total peace in the foothills of the Cote D'azur. It is set in large, established landscaped gardens of olive, palm and cypress trees and has terraces to all sides of the house with beautiful and far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside.

It has a 7m x 14m pool, outdoor shower and stone built barbeque. There is a furnished covered terrace, with TV and DVD and a boules pitch.

It has 5 large comfortable bedrooms each with en-suite facilities, and private furnished terraces and a separate stone pool-side guest cottage(sleeps 2) with en suite facilities and its own palm-fringed terrace with table and chairs. The bright 50M2 living room has sky TV, DVD and hi-fi system. There are doors onto terraces with magnificent views over the valley. We have rooms available all year should you wish to stay with us.
Should you wish to sightsee or just laze by the pool, we also offer the option of extending your stay with us before or after a course at Eu55 (approx£35) pp per night, including breakfast. For those booking as a group, dates of arrival and departure can be changed where possible, and the courses can be tailor-made to your own requirements including painting tuition, visits to exhibitions and local places of interest, sports including golf, sailing days, scuba and trekking on horseback. ::: NON PAINTING PARTNERS :::

20% DISCOUNT (no lunches or transport to activities included)
We welcome non-painting partners and can suggest and arrange a fantastic array of activities locally.

We have 5 Golf courses nearby, hiking trails, sailing and scuba, tennis, canyoning, rafting and horse trekking. We can also recommend cookery courses, and wine tasting locally. Please call us for details.


::: PAYMENTS :::

We require a non- refundable 33.3% deposit to confirm a booking. We accept payment in euros, or sterling. Cheques made payable to L.Mckay. Final balances are payable 8 weeks before the start of the course.

Payments made are not returnable or transferable under any circumstances. We therefore STRONGLY advise you to take out adequate travel and holiday insurance to cover you should you have to cancel or cut short a course.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel or alter a course, a full refund will be made or an alternative course offered.

It is your responsibility to inform us of any health problems or mobility problems prior to making a booking. This is in the strictest confidence but is vital to the planning of the course. We cannot be held responsible for the suitability of the holiday in any way if you have failed to inform us.

We reserve the right to amend or change the details and contents of the courses as necessary and without prior notice.

::: AIRPORT COLLECTION :::

For holidays at our base in France, We collect our guests from Nice international airport on the first day
of the course between 3.30PM and 5pm. For arrivals outside these times we can arrange transfers by taxi to Le mas casteunou.(approx 45euros)

For collections from PISA (TUSCANY)
We will endeavour to help arrange flights which arrive and depart at similar times for all our guests, but please understand that we may have to wait for another guests flight to arrive before we transfer to our base by car.
For flights to marco Polo (VENICE) Transfers are extremely easy by water bus/ water taxi to St Marks Square where we will meet you. If you are travelling alone, or need any extra assistance please let us know and we will meet you at the airport to assist you.
