Booking Terms - Azur Painting Holidays

Please read the following conditions and sign at the bottom of page to say you have read and agree to the following. Bookings will not be accepted until a signed form is received.

CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

1 To reserve the holiday, the client should complete and sign the booking form, booking conditions and send it to the owner along with a non refundable deposit. (33.3% of the total) Following receipt of the booking form, signed conditions and deposits, the owner will confirm the booking. This is the formal acceptance of the booking.

2 The balance for the holiday is payable not less than 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. If payment is not received by the due date we( the owners) reserve the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled. The client will remain liable to pay the balance of total unless the owner is able to re-sell the holiday.In this event clause 6 of these booking conditions will apply. Reservations made within 8 weeks of the rental period require payment in full at the time of booking.

3 Subject to clause 2 and 3 above, in the event of cancellation, refunds of amounts paid (not including booking deposit) will be made IF, and only IF the owner is able to re-sell the holiday for the cancelled week/s. Any expenses or losses incurred in so doing will be deducted from the refundable amount. THE CLIENT IS STRONGLY ADVISED TO ARRANGE A COMPREHENSIVE TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICY WHICH INCLUDES CANCELLATION COVER AND TO HAVE FULL COVER FOR THE PARTYS PERSONAL BELONGINGS, PUBLIC LIABILITY ETC AS THESE ARE NOT COVERED BY THE OWNERS INSURANCE. The cost of cancelled holidays cannot be transferred to other course dates to be used as a credit .

4 In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a course, a full refund of monies will be paid or an alternative course will be offered. We recommend you book flights which are refundable/changeable/transferable. We are not liable for any travel or accomodation costs that you may incur as a result of a course being cancelled by us.

5 The holiday will commence at 4PM on the first day and finish at 12 midday on the last day. The owner shall not be obliged to offer the accomodation before this time, and the client shall not be entitled to remain on the property after the time stated.

6 Pets are not allowed at the property unless agreed by the owners.

7 The client agrees not to act in any way which could cause disturbance to fellow guests or neighbouring properties.

8 The client must not touch any machinery at the house or attempt to repair it should it fail under any circumstances. The technical equipment/timers for the pool,heating equipment and any chemicals should not be touched under any circumstances. Access to the pool equipment room/kitchens etc is forbidden.

9 The owner shall not be liable to the client for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property ,nor in respect of the malfunction or breakdown of any vehicle equipment,plant,machinery or appliance in the property,garden or swimming pool before or during a course.

9a Nor for any loss damage or injury which results from adverse weather conditions, riot, strikes,war,terrorism or other matters beyond the control of the owner.

9b Nor for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to, or suffered by the client if the accomodation shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of a holiday, and in any such event the owner shall within 7 days of notification to the client refund to the client all sums previously paid in respect of the holiday

10 Under no circumstances shall the owners liability exceed the sum paid to the owner for the holiday

This contract shall be governed by English law in every particular including formation and interpretation and shall be deemed to have been made in England. Any proceedings arising out of or in connection with this contract may be brought in any court of competent jurisdiction in England.

I HAVE READ YOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND ACCEPT THEM ON BEHALF OF ALL MY PARTY WHO WILL BE AT THE PROPERTY, ON WHOSE BEHALF I AM AUTHORISED TO MAKE THIS AGREEMENT. I AM OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE.
