Le mas Casteunou nestles in the peace of the foothills of the Cote
D'azur amongst acres of national parkland, a million miles away from
the hustle and bustle of daily life and yet, only 25 minutes from the
vibrant coastal cities of Nice and Cannes.
The house has been imaginatively restored whilst retaining its
traditional Provencal architecture and is tastefully and comfortably
furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern pieces which offer
an informal and relaxed atmosphere in which to stay.
THE GUEST ROOMS
All the comfortable guest rooms are furnished
with antique french furniture, have modern en-suite facilities
and direct access to private terraces, which overlook the
mature landscaped gardens and ancient olive groves which have
been harvested here since Roman times.
Large palm fringed terraces surround the house, offering sun and shade
at different times of the day and there is a comfortably furnished
covered terrace adjacent to the pool.

The gardens conceal many quiet corners to sketch or read or simply take
in the incredible landscape, for
Le mas Casteunou has one of the most beautiful and far reaching views
of the entire region, overlooking the Loup valley, the Gorge du loup,
and the mediaeval hill-top villages which surround this unique home.
